Bexleyheath youngsters learn spook-tacular dance moves from Diversity star

Youngsters in Bexleyheath learned some spook-tacular moves from a street dance guru at Broadway Shopping Centre last week.

Nathan Ramsey, a member of dance group Diversity, which appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, ran a series of free street dance workshops with a spooky theme during half-term week.

Youngsters also had their faces made up at the shopping centre’s Halloween grotto, while a fashion show on Saturday displayed a selection of the best autumn and winter designs.

Diversity manager Danielle Banjo said: “The workshops were a huge success. We had more than 100 children turn up each day and sometimes up to 140. Nathan is a great teacher and the children just loved learning the routines and getting the chance to have some free lessons.”

Peter Sedge, the General Manager at Broadway Shopping Centre, added: “It’s been a great week, both the workshops and the fashion show were real crowd pullers and we’re really pleased so many of our young shoppers were able to join in.”
