Easter fun on the Broadway

Thousands of people turned out in Bexleyheath over the Easter weekend as locals of all ages were invited to a golden egg trail around the town.

Free family activities over the Easter weekend also included kids face-painting and land train rides up and down the Broadway. The Royal British Legion were also present in the town centre encouraging locals to sign up for the Honour Walk in Danson Park on Saturday 17th June.

Town Centre Manager Tony Garratt said “It’s been great to see so many families out enjoying what Bexleyheath has to offer. We’re also keen to see everyone at our Car Show at the end of the month for more free family-friendly fun.”

As part of this year’s Easter egg hunt, twenty golden eggs were placed around the town centre and Broadway Shopping Centre with prizes being awarded to a selection of completed entries.

Enjoy Bexleyheath’s Car Show returns to the Broadway Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April from 10am – 4pm.
