Meet The Team
We welcome to our team our new BID Manager – Tony Garratt. Tony joins us from a BID in the West End of London and is also a local resident. For the past 30 years Tony has lived in and around Bexleyheath and joins us with a wealth of experience in both business operations and the BID industry. His arrival will help steer the Bexleyheath BID through the remainder of its first term and take them through the 2nd term ballot in 2016.
An introduction from Tony: Hello and thank you to those of you that I have already met and the warm reception I have received. Although I have only been working for BID since mid-August I feel Bexleyheath is already starting to look forward. With the Natwest re-opening and Stuzzichini launch event in the past couple of weeks, it was the first opportunity for me to see the investment and intent by local businesses to continue trading in Bexleyheath for years to come. I join Bexleyheath from the Fitzrovia Partnership BID, where my primary roles were to support businesses on and around Tottenham Court Road and Charlotte Street, particularly focusing on the retail and evening economy sectors. This experience, combined with my local knowledge, will enable me to support Bexleyheath into the coming years. With some fantastic events on the horizon for the remainder of the year, I look forward to meeting you all and receiving your feedback on the past, present and future. If you would like to arrange some time for me to come and see you, feel free to contact me: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Graham is the point of contact for BID members and levy payers and is the newest addition to the BID team. Graham has over 15 years customer service experience with 7 years working with BHS Bexleyheath branch, as a visual merchandising manager which sadly came to an end in August when the company closed. He is excited about taking on the new challenge of working with the BID and sees it as an amazing opportunity to share his experience and learn a whole new set of skills. “I look forward to working with the BID and all the great people that make Bexleyheath Town Centre the special place it is today.”
Our regular bobbies on the beat are provided to the town centre from Bexleyeheath BID. Keeping in contact with the daytime economy via Town Safe, they work within our town centre community to prevent and deal with crime on the street.
