Welcome to ChinChins Coffee House

A slice of central London’s café culture right here on our doorstep…

The rumour mill has been whirring for a few weeks now about an all new indie coffee shop opening here on the Broadway and I am pleased to reveal the word on the Broadway was true. This week I headed on down to ChinChins (opposite Christ Church by Pizza Express) and was amazed at the transformation from previous retailer to a stylish stripped back, artisan style coffee shop.

Fresh baguettes, Union coffee and hand made cakes are proving incredibly popular with the locals here in Bexleyheath. Family friendly, I expect this will be the perfect hangout for local Mums who enjoy great coffee, cake and conversations, in a central location. There’s enough space to park the buggies and even a kids corner of books and puzzles to keep the little ones occupied. If feeling slightly indulgent with the delicious cakes, feel less guilty when you know the coffee being served is not only great quality but is sourced from Union Direct Trade. That means more than just paying farmers a fair price, it also means the coffee company are working with farmers, long-term, to improve the coffee and the livelihoods of the farmers and their families. Great news for all, I’m sure you’ll agree.

I’m sure in the summer months to come there will be some great iced coffee options available, but for now the delicious hot coffee I enjoyed (served with latte art no less) was enough to make me a raving fan.

Welcome to the Broadway ChinChins, it’s truly a pleasure to have you here!
